Obesity is due to an accumulation of excessive fat and is harmful to physical and psychological health.Obesity has a negative impact on the quality of life and carries serious social consequences.<\/p>\n
Obesity in the world : <\/strong>according to the WHO, over 1.9 million adults are overweight and more than \u00a0600 million adults<\/strong> are obese (2014 figures). \n<\/strong>15% of the adult population\u00a0are obese which equates to over 6.9 million people.
\n32.3% of the adult population or roughly 14.8 million people, are overweight.<\/p>\n
