MID at the 2026 Coelio Club Days

Journée du club coelio 2026_Namur

On November 12 and 13, 2026, MID will participate in the 26th Club Cœlio Conference in Namur, Belgium. This scientific conference, themed “Innovation Proven by Experience,” will focus on the key challenges in gastrointestinal surgery and the surgical practices of the future.

For this 26th edition, Club Cœlio has chosen a theme that particularly resonates with our approach: “Innovation Proven by Experience.”

When Innovation Meets Operating Room Experience

In surgery, innovation isn’t measured solely by how new it is. It truly comes into its own when it meets the demands of clinical practice, integrates into the daily routines of surgical teams, and helps advance surgical techniques.

It is this conviction that guides our commitment at MID.

The Club Cœlio Conference is an opportunity to meet expert surgeons, discuss their experiences, and discover how technological advancements are being applied in surgical practice.

This topic invites us to take a step back, compare approaches, and foster a dialogue between innovation, expertise, and real-world experience.

At MID, we develop medical devices designed to support healthcare professionals in their surgical practices.

Our approach is grounded in an understanding of real-world needs, technical expertise, and a constant drive for improvement.

Participating in the Club Cœlio Days means being part of this dynamic: listening to surgeons, understanding the evolution of their practice, and contributing to the discussions that advance our field.

The Club Cœlio Conference: A Highlight in the Field of Digestive Surgery

Held on November 12 and 13, 2026, at the Bourse de Namur, the Club Cœlio Conference brings together specialists to discuss surgical techniques and their latest developments.

Several major topics will be addressed over the course of these two days:

-Robot-assisted colonic surgery and the role of robotics.
-Functional aspects following total proctectomy.
-The future of rectal cancer surgery.
-Developments in bariatric surgery.
-Hepatobiliary surgery and robot-assisted techniques.
-Complex surgical cases and innovations in digestive surgery.

These discussions highlight a fundamental reality: the evolution of surgery relies as much on technological advances as it does on the sharing of knowledge and the experience of surgical teams.

MID: Innovation Developed in Close Alignment with Surgical Practices

Because medical innovation does not happen in isolation, we place particular importance on meetings with healthcare professionals and on feedback from clinical practice.

See you in Namur on November 12 and 13!
